It took a little practice to remove it, but once I figured out how to do it, I honestly wish all bracelet clasps were done this way! The magnet within it has a strong power to it, so at first I thought it'd be impossible to remove it with only one hand. For that reason, it's super easy to fasten. But with a little practice, it's now far easier to undo than any other necklace or bracelet I own, without sacrificing integrity of it on my wrist. I personally went with the Dacron cord and it feels so soft! That said, I'm worried about how clean it can stay, but the threads do look coated. That said, I'll likely limit wearing it often to play it safe. The tassel, if it absolutely needs to be removed, can be removed by sliding it off when it's open, but it's snuggly on.
