The brooch is gorgeous, but the only problem is that the lapel pin is too long and not sharp enough to pierce fabric, and the backer is slightly messed up but that's easily replaceable. Luckily I'm a bit handy and I should be able to trim and sharpen the pin to where the brooch is useable.

This is a great pin for wearing! I will say it might not be the best for putting on thinner fabric like a cotton and/or polyester shirt or for an ita bag without something, given how long the pin on the back is. If you want it for something like a scarf or winter coat, the extra length of the pin back is great for it! Again, like with the other products here, the metal used is very sturdy and the stone is safely set.
